Our newest addition.

Meet (unofficially) Cheyenne!

She is a 3 mo old, brown, terrier mix. We picked her out at the SPCA Saturday. She is very calm and puts up with all of Little A's commands. She also just moves to a new spot whenever Little C gets too close. Since she was recently fixed we are not supposed to take her on walks or give her a bath which makes Little A sad. She asks about 5 times a day when we can walk her. She has one ear that is floppy and the the other stands up. She looks a little scruffy but she is actually pretty soft. Little A keeps telling me that she is glad to have a dog. I have a very low tolerance for poop in my house, so hopefully we will be able to housebreak her quickly. I am grateful that I don't have carpet anymore for her to stain. Its much easier just to wipe it up. The only other thing is that I hope she gets a little more playful once she is used to us.

Bouncy Curls

They other day at Walmart I made an impulse buy and bought Little A some curlers! I know that I shouldn't have bought them cause we didn't NEED them but every little girl has to have curlers right? We have already used them twice and each time she looked adorable.

I have thought about cutting her hair into a cute A line cut or something like that but then I think if I did that I wouldn't be able to do her hair in curlers anymore. Or do her hair at all. Maybe if I have another girl someday or maybe just when I'm sick of doing hair in a few years.

"Workin' at the Car Wash"

Who needs drive through car washes! Not me cause I have 3 car washers. Today after seeing that the car was really dirty I decided to let the kids wash it. Even Little C got into it. Here are some pictures of the kids and I washing our car.

Here is Little C in charge of holding the hose during washing.

Here are Little D and Little A. Scrub-a-dub-dub.

Here I am getting the high spots the kid couldn't get.

After Little C was done squirting his sister with the hose, (which she thought was hilarious) He decided to try his hand in Wash boy.

Another cute picture of Little C hard at work.
So our car went from Really dirty to still a little dirty in about 30 mins!

Another First Day!

Well its that time of year again, when Mom gets no sleep because she is more nervous about school than her kids are. Little D wanted to go to school by himself today. He said he knew what room he was in and he wanted to ride the bus. I was thinking, (more like panicking in my head) "But you don't know about recess and what about after recess when you have to line up, how will you know where to go?" He eventually said, "Alright you can take me but I want to ride the bus home." I agreed and took him to school to take pictures.

This year Little D is in 1st grade. His teacher is Mrs. Hashim and everyone that I talk to says that she is very nice and a great teacher. I was glad to hear this because with Little D being my first to go to school I didn't even have a clue who the 1st grade teachers were, let alone who was good.

Little D was excited to find out that 2 or his good friends from church are also in his class. Last year he was in class with Hailey but not with Noah. He also saw a lot of kids from Kindergarten last year. One thing that Little D was excited to find out about was that this year he gets a desk! So when they got in this morning they all got assigned a desk. Little D and his 2 great friends are at the same cluster. I made sure to tell him that he had better be good or he wont be sitting there for long. So we will just have to see how long this arrangement lasts.

I'm kinda bummed that he is staying longer at school only because now he eats lunch at school. Which means that now I have to pack him a lunch! I just know I wont like this. Plus Little D hates sandwiches. We are gonna have to find some that he likes.

So now he is at school and I'm wondering what I am going to do until 2!

***Note: Little D came home and said he sits with all girls and only one boy now. Looks like he didn't listen and was talking too much after all.***

Like being in the Forth of July Parade, having her entire blog post read on the Radio, and now being quoted in The National Review! Click here to read the article.
