That's one way to group date!

Today Little D came home and said, "Mom, I have a meeting with the girls at Cold Stone, and I have to go."

I said, "What?"

His reply, "And dinner too so... I might be late getting back. So can I go?"

"When is it?"

"5 O' Clock" (and yes he said O clock)

"Where else are you going?"

"Lillia's Grandma's house and then Cold Stone"

"What day is this happening?"

"Saturday, every Saturday."

I think that I just went into the future 10 yrs!

A Crazy 3 Hours

This evening was crazy, Little C decided to stop eating his dinner and have a good cry. A 45 minute break down over apparently nothing. After he finally stopped crying we had to rush out of our house to take a meal into a fellow sister, stop at the store for bread on the way and on the way home, pick up cookies for a funeral tomorrow. After we got home the dog decided to race across the busy street to freak the neighbor kids half to death. Then just when I thought that I had her on the way inside she spotted the birds that have been nesting in our bark and decided to chase it half way down the block. Then Little A got her fingers pinched in a door, and I found Little C's bowl of popcorn thrown in his little potty. And its only 6:30pm.

Is it bed time yet?

And even after they are finally in bed I just know that Little D will come out about 5 times to "tell" me something. However once he comes out and I say what? he will say,"hmmm.... let me think".

Is it tomorrow yet?

Hair too...

Along with putting food in his ears he has been also doing this.

I looked over after dinner the other day and saw that he had put his noodles on his head. I know that a lot of kids do this at times but it was just funny the way that he would apply the noodles.

After I saw this, I watched him discretely (I pretended to be looking at the pictures that I had already taken) for a little while and saw his technique. He will slowly pick up a noodle and gently place it on his head then the next noodle would start to go on his head, only he would change his mind and put it up to his ear. At this point he saw me watching and put the noodle back into his bowl. And flashed me this smile.

Little stinker. Yesterday we had Dutch Puff and he had rubbed his syrupy hands all over his head. It looked like he has slicked it down with oil or like his hair was glued to his head.

There is a first time for Everything

I guess. I have never actually done this before.

I always washed this with the reds. Never had a problem until today and I think that the items pictured below were the culprits.

I thought that I had washed these once before but apparently not. Oh, well. He was probably getting to big for it anyway. And Little D's neckline of this shirt is now pink too. But I know that he was too big for this one.

Do I have mascara...

On my head? YES!! I caught him putting on my mascara yesterday. He missed by a mile! In these pictures he is sad because he knew he was caught and was not happy about it. Come to think of it Little A did this same thing, only she was about 3 and actually got it in the right vicinity. Typical male, doesn't have a clue as to where mascara goes.

When will it end?

This faze of stuffing his ears? Last night I found ground hamburger in his ears. That was a little more concerning, only because it can break up easily. What if pieces of food get stuck in there. Or if they are too far in to come out?

Little C

Little C has just realized that running is cool and fun. He had been able to run for a while now but its like he just got it. It just clicked in his head that this is fun and fast and I can keep up.(for the most part) So now he runs everywhere.
He also is in to putting stuff in his ears. No just stuff, but bread. Yep when I give him a piece of bread to snack on he ends up breaking off little pieces and tries to stuff it in his ears. The other day I was holding him and glanced at his ears and they were full of bread. I thought what in the world happened? Then the other day I caught him trying to fill his ears up. Silly boy.
